The Space: The Roots Factory operates as a multi-purpose Creative Art Space / Cultural Center. We are a grass-roots organization, we accept no government or corporate funding. We host regular screen print workshops & classes. We often open our space to schools for free private workshops. The Roots Factory is a part of the Barrio Logan Arts District. Studio time is also available to artists with full access to screen print equipment. For more info on rates please click HERE
The Roots Factory is a art gallery & performing arts venue. Our purpose is to promote culture, self-empowerment and awareness. The space is partly run by the help of community volunteers & interns. For more info on how you can participate please click HERE
The Roots Factory also operates as a screen print shop. Yes, we take orders for custom print jobs: T-Shirts, Posters, Stickers, and more.
